Elevate Healthcare Marketing, 3D illustration

Elevate came to WB+TDP to create images for their new company’s website, elevateHC.com, and we jumped at the opportunity.

It’s not every day two people of their stature start a new company—or invite us in from the beginning. They approached us with their idea for an elegant series of icons displayed as digital origami—very appropriate for the brand expression of an innovative strategy practice. To keep the purity of the ideas visually salient, we used clean airy space with a hint of color tones, then constructed icons inspired by contemporary paper construction made from strategic business plans. We chose to build these images in 3D to make sure they had control, flexibility, and speed while maintaining elegance. Throughout the process, we worked with Elevate’s Chief Creative Officer, Barry Schmader, and design partner, Xavier Creative House, to bring the icon style into focus, ultimately landing on a consistent, stunning look for the brand.

Elevate Healthcare Marketing is a multidisciplinary strategy lab specializing in shaping and translating product objectives into actionable sales and marketing strategies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients. They are positioned upstream of typical agencies; part strategic practice, part think tank, and part idea incubator. Their philosophy is that planning strategies for commercial success starts as soon as possible, even as early as Phase II clinical trials.

Frank X. Powers, one of healthcare marketing’s champions, has been honored as a PM360 Elite Leader, and as one of PharmaVoice Magazine’s 100 Most Inspiring People. Under his leadership, the independent agency Dudnyk received all top honors in the industry, including Agency of the Year, Most Creative Agency, and Best Places to Work.

Lorna Weir has followed a career path that has taken her from Wall Street to Law (Weir holds a JD), from business-to-business and consumer marketer to healthcare strategic specialist. She has been president of successful agencies Dudnyk and Vox Medica, and more recently principal of her own strategic consulting firm.
